Subject: Another final request

OK, have I lost all credibility yet? This is probably the fourth time I am making a final request of you guys. But this time is different, this time it's personal. I am asking for your vote this Saturday to attend the national convention in Denver. I've come to know many of you personally over the past 16 months and many of you I now call friends. This is about closure for me. I have done all I could do to help the effort to get Barack Obama elected. I think we've done well but it was NOT easy. You know what I've done, you were there with me, but there is much more I've been able to do that you probably don't know about. From contacting Samantha Power to have her help us, and speak at the announcement rally in Boston the day that Obama announced his candidacy, to speaking at the campaign's request at the Boston organizing meeting. Along with many of you I've climbed the hills of Littleton, NH last summer knocking on doors to knocking on doors in Lebanon in the bitter winter cold. I've painted signs, made calls, delivered signs to remote locations, cleaned campaign offices, moved to NH for three weeks pre-primary, made coffee runs, consoled a distraught congressman the night we lost the NH primary and much, much more. I'll spare you the details.

Last night I went to EBA's Pizza parlor in Hanover, NH. I could have gone to Manchester, VT to campaign for myself. EBA's is a place where I have been many times for Obama events. I even met Barack Obama himself there once. I went to watch the Oregon results come in. For closure. For me this has been personal. I love this country and I want to leave it in the hands of a good person for my grand children's sake. EBA's is where we all watched the NH primary results come in. It's where we said our goodbyes to volunteers from all over the country. It felt like leaving summer camp. So now I don't know how to stop working for this campaign. I need to go to Denver and vote for Obama. That's the last thing I can do in this nominating process. Please help me do it. Thanks for everything. This has been an amazing experience and mostly because of all of you guys.
