Our Nation is hurting; International Relations are at an all time low, an economy driven down by debt and a lack of investment in our Greatest Asset, us!!!; a Health Care system that is a disgrace, a War that was unnecessary committing essentially genocide against innocent civilians, Corruption that has become the norm in an Administration that is riddled by greed and egos, Education that is becoming second rate; all in the shadow of an inept President that is only in Office because of his last name; it would be of great honor to represent the good people of Vermont in nominating Barack Obama as the Democratic Candidate for President; Barack Obama is the one person that can jump start our road to recovery, he is the one person that can establish both short and long term sustainable results; he deserves and will be the next President of the United States of America; if I can be part of his incredible journey, then I will certainly be a delegate that the Vermont Democratic Party can be proud of!!!

A little bit about me; my spouse (Caren) and I have significant campaign experience spreading over many states during the last 20 years including Vermont, Alabama, California, Connecticut, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire and Oklahoma; I started as a 15 yr old in Mississippi working for Jimmy Carter, at 17 was appointed a US House of Representative Page under GV "Sonny" Montgomery (Montgomery GI Bill), and have continued with every Presidential Campaign to date, all Democrats!! Experience includes canvassing, phone-banking, house parties and election day poll reporting; recently hosted two Peter Welch Stowe fundraiser with Donna and Jake Carpenter (Burton Snowboards); and have hosted house parties for moveonorg including the premiere of Michael Moore¹s Fahrenheit 911 which received National Attention with the turnout numbers in our Republican dominated neighborhood in Old Greenwich, CT. Currently leading the Stowe Skateboard Coalition in a grassroots effort to build a $300,000 skateboard park.

I have a BA from the University of Alabama and a MS Management from MIT¹s Sloan School of Management; After living in CT from '00-¹05 working on Wall Street, we as a Family permanently moved to Stowe after visiting the area almost every weekend to our second home. My three kids, Josh (16), Rebecca (14) and Hannah (9) are avid Snowboarders and active Obama supporters; Josh and Rebecca, are attending Crested Butte Academy in CO training under former Stowe resident and Olympic Halfpipe Coach Bud Keene. Hannah snowboards in Stowe in between her campaign work for Obama.
