As life-long friends growing up in Burlington, we have always shared a passion for politics and public service.  Like Senator Obama, we have both dedicated our lives to serving our communities, as attorneys, advocates and activists.

If given the opportunity, one particular issue we intend to address in Denver, is the need for Senator Obama and the Democratic Party to vigorously push for the reversal of the current administration’s eights year assault on Americans’ fundamental civil rights and liberties.  Like most Vermont Democrats, we care deeply about this issue, and we have had the unique opportunity to see the impact of this policy in our own careers.  As delegates, we will use our passion and experience to express Vermonters’ deep concern over this issue and our strong hope that a President Obama will restore the rights and liberties that make this country great.     

We ask for your vote on May 24th at the Democratic State Convention in Barre.
